Akaoni Atsushi hails from an isolated island known as Oni Island, which is part of the country Seiran Wakoku. As the name suggests, most of Oni Island's residents belong to the Oni tribe. From his name, it's clear that he is a descendant of the Akaoni lineage. After the Oni tribe decided to accept the governance of the country, their naming conventions slowly became more modernized. "Akaoni" is his surname, representing both his clan within the Oni tribe, while "Atsushi" is his given name.

The Oni tribe has a notorious history in WOOFIA, largely due to their... well, to put it diplomatically, somewhat inhumane treatment of people from other regions. This led to them being looked down upon by others for a long time. However, in this new era, the Oni tribe has managed to turn around their negative reputation and regain a prominent position in WOOFIA. This transformation is largely due to their king, who effectively harnessed the Oni's naturally strong physique and leveraged their "Oni stick," a unique advantage, to build a successful adult business. They even developed an adult content platform called "Onifans" to adapt to the changing times.

Atsushi is a professional photographer on Onifans and sometimes works as a talent scout, seeking out potential collaborators for filming. Though he comes across as knowledgeable and composed, he has a tendency to lose his temper when his work is interrupted by trivial matters or when his expertise is questioned. In such moments, Atsushi may struggle to keep his anger in check and end up wildly swinging the "Oni stick" prop. Is it fair to say he has a low EQ? From an average person's perspective, he can certainly appear emotionally unstable... but considering his Oni heritage, it's actually impressive that he's managed to suppress the violent tendencies of his bloodline to a level that's acceptable to ordinary people.

Atsushi is a loyal fan of the well-known brand SuperPow. Sometimes, you can spot him casually wandering around their stores, standing out quite a bit. During new product launches, you might even see him queuing up with the general public. Contrary to his rugged and bold appearance, he surprisingly enjoys these refined and high-quality trendy little trinkets. If you like similar things and aren't afraid of getting on his nerves, you could probably be good friends with him. After all, he isn't a bad person at all.
